Behind the Bonansa Country Hotel are Mercè Gili and Javier Ricou, a couple of journalists determined to transform the way we experience the mountains.
Mercè, a photojournalist for La Vanguardia and a graduate in Human Geography, has dedicated her career to investigating the impact of urbanism in rural areas. She firmly believes that a hotel like this one represents the most respectful and sustainable way of living in the Pyrenees.
Javier, editor of the same media and television collaborator, is a son of Bonansa. With this project, he gives life to a personal dream: to give back to the village what he has always felt as his own, with commitment and affection.
